(no subject)
just got back from staff training in wv at Spruce Knob.
4 days Camping in:
6 inches of snow
16 degree weather
w/wet boots
two sleeping bags
we had to go in early
because:
after the cave where you go through water up to mid thighs and had to hike back with wet clothes, it was dangerous.
Theres a french girl named Marjolaine and we're buds. Shes awesome! I really really like her.
I also know a lot more about geology around there, about caves, go ahead, ask me about limestone and sink holes and why we have so many caves out there. but I have ssuch a shit ton to learn. so somuch. I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE SEASON!!! I can't wait to get to work and be back. I love this place and this community so fucking much. It feels like home, in the truest sense.
I have SOOO much work to catch up on. So much other very very complicated shit happened involving a very very old van with a broken drivers side door, a gas hatch that won't close, no snow chains and swinging off an on ramp to the highway.
