[Lockdown, in car mode, is parked by the side of the road, while his human holoform sits on a bench, looking impatient. Said holoform is also decked out in black and green leather, with spikes on the outfit's shoulders. According to the card, his date is someone named "Nathan". Should be fun, especially if things get hot and heavy.]

[Nathan shows up half an hour late, not having made any special effort. After all, that was the point of having blind dates. It didn't matter what the other person looked like. He'd dug out his blue flannel shirt from among the clothes and just thrown that on over his black tank top. Combined with his black drainpipes and Converse, Nathan thought he looked rather shag-worthy. And as if he didn't have it in the bag already, he'd applied a liberal amount of deodorant before setting off.

To be honest, he did have his reservations about this date. Who called themselves Lockdown? His bets were on her either being a wrestler or a really butch lesbian. A wrestler could prove to be a hot date, but he wasn't so sure about being set up with a lesbian. Unless she brought along a girlfriend. He'd be down with that.

His thoughts are interrupted when he realises the bench he's supposed to be meeting his date on is already occupied by some weird looking guy with a leather fetish. Frowning, Nathan flicks cigarette ash at him.]Hey, go

[Looks over at the young man. So this is his date? Huh, kinda scrawny for a human, but not too bad looking overall. He's not used to judging humans as dateable.]

Lemme guess, you're Nathan?

[Flicks the invitation out of his pocket.]

[Nathan glares at him suspiciously, still clinging onto the naive hope his date is a woman.]

I mean, come on! There should be a beautiful woman sitting at that bench, stretched out, just waiting for me to take her. This is a total cop out.

[Rolls his eyes. He might not know what "heterosexual" means, but it doesn't sound like good odds for him.]

Don't diss it 'til you try it. I've knocked dates off their feet in the berth and made 'em see colors. 'Sides, I know I ain't the most handsome, er, person out there, but I make up for it.

[Stands up so he look down at Nathan from his holoform's over six feet tall height.]

Look, I signed up for the date, we're doing the date. Besides, there'll be a big surprise for ya' in the end.

[Nathan's six feet himself, generally not meeting anyone much taller than him. Even so, he doesn't seem put off by his height. He shrugs, frowning.]

Whatever. But I'm the woman here, so you'd better be planning on buying me drinks. And if your "big surprise" in any way involves your genitals, I don't want to know.

Fine. ["Genitals"? Ah, he'll look it up later.] Get in the car, and don't touch the stick shift.

[Nathan takes that as an indication he should be sitting on the passenger side. Which he almost gets wrong, seeing as he's used to the drivers seat being on the right, but he corrects himself before actually getting in.]

I should warn you. If you plan on kidnapping me, the police have me on file. If I'm not arrested within 24 hours they'll start to get suspicious.

[Supresses a slight noise as Nathan sits on his leather seats. It's not often he has someone sitting in him.

If Nathan is sharp enough, he might notice something off with his date as soon as he gets in the car. It's almost like he got a bit more... "robotlike". This is because Lockdown is turning most of his focus to his real body (and driving) while still concentrating enough on the holoform to put on appearances. One of these days he will find a way to balance working both.]

If I was gonna kidnap you, I'd have just hit you over the head and carried you off.

[Sadly, Nathan is not all that perceptive. He barely even pays any attention to Lockdown, let alone enough to notice he's robotlike.]

Oh, well, that's very reassuring. It's always nice to know when you have a classy kidnapper.

[Puts all his focus back into his avatar as it leaves his driver's seat and catches up to Nathan. Might as well give this "alcohol" thing a taste.]
