Good News Bad News Good News
With one piece of information, I have both good news and bad news. Followed by a piece of information that is all good news. Over Labor Day I was shopping with My Precious Daughter and Precious Niece. At MPD's behest, I tried on a lovely washable suede skirt in Eddie Bauer, in a size I figured would be too small. In fact, thanks to South Beach, it was too big. So MPD convinced me to try it in an even smaller size and continue dieting into it. I did.
This morning I tried it on (having lost a few more pounds). Guess what? IT IS WAY TOO SMALL!!!!!!! (See? Good news/bad news all in one fell swoop!). Then I was at Steinmart this afternoon and saw a washable suede skirt (not identical, but darn close) that fits perfectly. AND, it is over $100 cheaper than the Eddie Bauer skirt! Good news/good news! So the next time I'm in SA, I'll be at Eddie Bauer getting a refund!
And, I had coffee with Claudia this afternoon and she could tell I'm skinnier! Girlfriends are great, everyone should have one.
