I've been promising this entry since Sunday, although this particular Tuesday isn't quite over yet - I'm posting this now in fear that I will probably fall asleep quite early tonight.
So, I read in a newspaper about a week ago an article that got me thinking. It stated that the worst day of the week is in fact Tuesday, and not Monday like most people assume. More specifically, at ten o'clock on Tuesday every week, motivation and energy levels are at their lowest. What is the reason for this? Simply - Mondays: yes, work starts again, yes, you have a pile of work to catch up on and you have the whole week left to get through. But yes - you can catch up with your friends, gossip about the weekend, start the day out with a whole bundle of energy because you slept all weekend.
On Tuesday? You have to finally catch up with all the work you didn't finish on Monday, and the end of the week still seems to be so far away. And at ten o'clock on this most miserable day, the pain really starts to kick in.
Let's take my timetable for today: Biology, Art, Double Spanish, Double English and History - oh the joy. And let me assure you, Art is probably the most stressful out of all of these subjects. No, it was not a fun day.
