drafting
I'm applying for this comedy producer traineeship- and one of the questions is basically to come up with an idea for a new comedy show - and tell them why it would appeal and why it would be funny.
Well after a couple of helpful bits from Chris and Dennis I have my first draft done. Now just need to polish the idea and maybe suggest casting - and thats one of the questions done.
Now i have to find a new comedian I'd want to use in a stand up show, and think of a classic tv/radio prog to bring back for radio and suggest a new cast.
and then the always fun Q's - of why am i great for this job, and tell us all about your skills etc! Those are the ones i hate! But the devising and thinking up programme ideas has been fun and once i got an brief idea the rest just came. I'm starting to think that i could actually do this producing stuff!
