Low energy but slightly more energetic because December! Coldness! Social things! Looking at shiny things and thinking about getting them for people as presents/ people buying them for me as presents!
For the first time ever, the beloved and I have a Christmas tree in our home. And it is nice and shiny and topped by a tiger (tiger!).
It only took me ~10 years to realise that the nice shiny lights and pretty tree are comforting symbols in much the same way as my Hanukka candles are. And it's not important but it is fun/ good to have. Even though we will spend Christmas elsewhere. In previous years I was thinking that we do not need a tree, as there will be one in the place where we spend Christmas.
It's an artificial Christmas tree and we put it up on the last night of Hannuka, while the eight candles were shining.
