It was a melodically solid and lilting song. The constant refrain and allusion to water was an incredibly apt and beautiful visual connection tying it all up into a graceful whole.
I also really enjoyed the understated but appropriate percussion on "Sometimes the Gift". Another well crafted piece. I couldn't help but notice it was the shortest song on the album by over half a minute, but like so much in life sometimes the very best things are small and sweet (Euphoria chocolate springs immediately to mind ) ;-)
I loved this album, I would have snatched it off the shelves of boarders had I heard it at a listening station at twice what I paid for it. Thankfully (for you and my wallet both) I could get it directly from you the artist skip and the middle man. My husband and I are both looking forward to hearing you live at one of your upcoming gigs.
