Wow, this just in: It's pretty much a done deal that we're getting two more housemates at Ze Maggothouse*. That'll make it six dero students under the one roof, now - me, Jess, Will, Chelsea and now, Ruthie and Jen (yes, there are two Ruths within a 5 metre radius who don't happen to carry around their pee in a bag!!!! I was so weirded out to meet another youthful Ruth :| ). It'd be seven housies if you included Chelsea's boyfriend, who always hangs around like a not so horrible smell. Eight if you included Jess' uni friend, Ben, who comes to stay once a week for his earlier uni classes. And nine if you included Will's sister, Lal, who comes back to the house every weekend.
I think we pretty much whoop 7th Heaven's ass here.
We have this IN and OUT corkboard that sits near the door, which we use to show each other whether we're in or out of the house. With the new additions, I had to extend the magnetic strip further with paperclips when we ran out of tacks - oh, I'm a thinker, alright!
I'm the blue "R" while Ruthie is purple. Jess was the original "J", so Jen got stuck with the next letter down - "K".
...Uh, hi Ken.
I love the corkboard system. It's one of my favourite things about the house. Along with the whiteboard system...
Yeah, *I* cleaned those dishes, hahaha.
Hahaha. That bread stealing convict.
So yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing how everything pans out. Mind you, if they're as apathetic as Chelsea is about the cleaning of the kitchen, there'll be words, haha. It's really strange how much of a cleaning Nazi I've become, seeing as I never lifted a finger back at home with the parents. It only applies to the kitchen, though - my room right now isn't so much a bedroom as it is a walk-in wardrobe with all my clothes covering absolutely every inch of floorspace and any other space there is in here. Yeah that I won't post a picture of.
Anyway, stats study awaits for I have a test tomorrow.
Yay for more housemates!
Fin.
*You really don't wanna know the story behind this.
