So the boss has proposed what he feels will be a simple new feature, (and it probably will be simple), but assumed we could figure it out from a few words of title. I asked for a little more detail, he gave an explanation, but also went back to the customer having thought of a couple of extra possibilities, and then comes back to say that in fact he was wrong but what the customer wants is similar. The customer feels good because we seem to be listening, the boss feels good because he's been vigilant and can now give a solid requirement early in the development cycle. And what do I feel? Like I'm doing my job, I guess, which is a good feeling, simple pleasures.
The other stuff was about some interviews and reviews that have been annoying me, the perpetuation of stupidity that could be avoided by 10 pounds and an evening reading, wasting my breath really... There are days I wish I didn't care about such stuff.
