-In BEAST’s bedroom, 06:00 am.-
KiKwang crept out of bed as quietly as he could, trying his best not to wake the other members up. However, he tripped on his own feet & fell face first onto the floor. The loud thud woke the others and they laugh at the scene before them. KiKwang who is laughing along at his own clumsiness apologized and told them to go back to sleep. He then grabbed his towel & proceeds on to the bathroom.
The smell of freshly made food greeted KiKwang right after he opened the bathroom door. He was surprised by the food on the dining table. It consisted of a buttered toast, a scrambled egg, an orange juice and a little note that accompanied the breakfast with. “Eat before leaving! I hope you’ll enjoy it! Sorry for the simple breakfast. Sorry for the burnt toast. Sorry if it tasted bad. - YoSeob”
-In BEAST’s apartment after Unstoppable High Kick filming, 02:00 pm.-
KiKwang often felt left out due to his acting activities. Even though he stated on interviews that he is sorry to the other members for leaving them out in practices he is more apologetic to himself. He was crushed when the management stated that he will be part of a boy band despite his debut as a soloist. The only thing that kept him going was his motivator also known as high school friend cum team mate and crush, YoSeob.
A text message from DooJoon snapped him out of his thoughts. “KwangKwang, have you reached home? We’re at the studio practicing. You can take a break for today. YoSeob’s at home, sick, take care of him. - DooJoon” He then crept inside their bedroom slowly. The blond was sleeping on his bed, hugging his pillows as if they were bolsters.
“Mhh… Kwangie? Sorry, I couldn’t climb up on my bed so I slept on yours instead. I’ll just climb onto mine now.” YoSeob said as he rubbed his eyes.
“No, no, no… You’re not feeling well so just rest on mine OK? Have you eaten? Taken any medication yet?”
“None at all, I can’t even walk straight & my head hurts.”
KiKwang felt his heart aching to see his crush feeling so weak in front of him. He is not used to seeing this side of YoSeob. In fact, he has never seen the blond sick even back when they were in high school. He wants to change him back to the way he was. He ruffled the other guy’s hair and told him to rest more while he prepares lunch for the both of them.
KiKwang panicked after he closed their bedroom door. He has never cooked before. It’s time he turned to his one and only savior. It’s definitely not DongWoon. He is pretty sure that the youngest couldn’t cook even if his life depends on it. He switched on his laptop and searched for “recipe - chicken soup” but realized that it was too complicated for him. He decided to buy something from the nearby stores.
-In BEAST’s apartment, 03:30 pm.-
“Seobie, wake up. Let’s have lunch together OK? Wake up please~”
“Mhh.”
“No, don’t stand up. I’ll bring the food to you.”
“Mmm? OK…”
YoSeob giggled when he saw KiKwang entered, teetering a little while carrying a tray of food. There is a bowl of chicken soup, a small plate of mashed potato and a glass of drink which he is not sure of what it was. He is touched by KiKwang’s thoughtfulness.
“It’s nothing special really.”
“Thank you.”
KiKwang blushed when he gets to see YoSeob’s smile for the very first time in the whole day. He can’t help but to notice that the boy was shivering when he tried to drink his soup. With another blush, KiKwang offered to feed the blond.
“This is really delicious. Did you make them all by yourself?”
“Heh?! Er… I’ve something to confess. The only thing I made was the Lemon - Honey drink, sorry. That’s Campbell Cream of Mushroom Soup & KFC’s Mashed Potatoes.”
“Haha, why are you apologizing? I’m really glad you went out to buy these for me. Oh, DooJoon just texted me.”
“What did he say?” KiKwang asked as he tried to hide his sadness.
“Just wondering whether I’m feeling much better & whether I needed food.”
“Oh… I see. What did you reply?”
“Don’t worry, I’m totally fine with Kwangie next to me.”
“Oh! Is that a picture of us on your phone’s wallpaper?!”
“Haha, yeah. I look much tougher than you last time.”
“But you’re cute like this…”
“Sorry, what?"
“Hmm? Ah, nothing. Just talking to myself!”
YoSeob felt much better after his lunch. He feels energized knowing that their bond strengthened. He feels happier knowing that his high school friend cum team mate and crush, KiKwang fed him. He can’t wait to tell his best friend DooJoon all about his day.
