My St. John's Mini Tour

Hey everyone!

I'm finally playing my own music at places. I've done a lot of work on my singing voice and after some pushing from good friends, I'm going to start playing it for the general public. I managed to get booked for three shows in one week, and it would mean so much to me if you could make it down to at least one. One, you'll be a great friend. Two, we'll be friends forever. Three, I'll probably name my children after you. Please, if you can just put aside some time one night next week to hear me play, it would mean so much to me, I can't even describe it. Whether you're a close friend, a not so close friend, or just somebody I happen to know, you've meant something to me somewhere along the way. Please come!

- Monday night, March 13th, is a benefit show for Bax's beautiful cat. If there was ever a better show to call my first, I haven't seen it. The guys put off one hell of an entertaining Monday night that's well worth the $5 price of admission. I haven't heard much of Sam Murphy, Will Dray, or Kyle's Birthday, but Adam Baxter, Joel Upshall, and Trevor "Catcher" Bennett are all masters of their craft and should be heard. If you don't come for me, at least come for them. This is my first show ever, so I'll be nervous, but I'd love to have you there for support. Show starts 9:30pm. - Wednesday night, March 15th, is Jordan Young's songwriter's series. In my opinion, this show is one of the coolest things to hit this town. Every Wednesday night at Roxxy's, Jordan features two songwriters from the area and plays a set himself as well. This is a great opportunity to hear the talent that's being hidden in our fair city. Jordan is always an entertaining act. Singing and playing in successes like Elimination Dance, Mopey Mumble Mouse, etc., you know everyone has to be raving about something. Ben Gerrior is a quiet guy with big tunes. He's got a cool blues vibe that you don't hear from many songwriters on our level these days. He's also great with the harmonica. $3 cover, show starts at 10:00pm. This will be my longest set of the week and will feature the most of my originals. Monday and Friday are half hour sets, this one's about 45 minutes. I might have a little surprise up my sleeve for this one too, so it'd be great if you could come. - Friday night , March 17th, is the first show ever presented by The Musician's Guild. For those that don't know much about the Guild, it's a society who's prime purpose is to support local music. They connect musicians to musicians, and all proceeds made go to promoting, recording, and distributing for musicians. Membership is flourishing, and is constantly looking up. In which case, Friday night is a good time to go because it's supporting a good cause and you can see more of what the Guild has to offer. This one is special to me too because I've done the organizing, booking, promotion, etc.. All performers are part of the Guild and include local favorites Ian Foster, Brad Squires (of BridgebuildeR), Jordan Young (of Elimination Dance, etc.), Marceno, Chris LeBlanc (an unknown with one of the most powerful voices and best originals you've ever heard), me, and Shawn Butler. I'll be MCing this one as well, show is at 10:00, cover is $5, and beer is 2 for $5.25. There's a keg, there's green food colouring, and there will be shenanigans. Come check it out!
