Pietopia and horse wrangling
* Heard on the radio today, one candidate speaking about another (names omitted because this is not a political post):
"[Candidate] is so interested in who gets a piece of your pie, that he's not concerned about GROWING the pie."
Growing the pie? You can grow pie? Pleasepleasepleaseplease please y'all, find me some pie seeds! I'll grow lots of pies and share the seeds with everyone so they too can grow their own pies. It will be a pietopia!

* Sunday just before I left the farm, there was a small horse-getting-loose incident, and I discovered a new use for The Scarf.
* It's actually chilly here, and after seven months of heat-avoidance, my cat is a giant lap magnet again. ::snuggles::
