- Gah! LiveJournal's text message posting system is great in theory - when you're away from a computer, you can still leave a message in your journal! In practice, 50% of the time it screws up and makes me look like I'm drunk posting. (jennlynnster doesn't believe me. *g*) My second post about Nestor the Long-Eared Donkey last night was supposed to read, P.S.

::headdesk:: There's a reason I compulsively check every post eight times before I post it. It's quite a leap of faith to make a post I can't octuple-check and won't even see until the next time I can get to a computer. Bad faith! Skepticism is so much more sensible. - Last night I baked nine mini-loaves of two kinds of quick bread using three mini-loaf pans. Spent several hours on the floor, sorting 22 unopened Sunday newspapers into piles by section (much like Adrian Monk, but I don't use tongs), then pile-by-pile into groups for "keep," "recycle," "take to school," and "rip up for worm fodder." Watched Love Actually and cried like a ninny, as you do.
- TV alerts! I'm not sure how other North American markets are handling these, so check local listings, but on my TV...
- Paul Gross and/or curling fans! WGN is showing Men With Brooms at 2 p.m. on Saturday
- Curling! The Korbel Elite Challenge from Rockefeller Plaza in New York City is on NBC Sunday afternoon. Does this mean they'll be curling in the same spot the SNL cast ice skates after their Christmas episodes? - Self-pimping:

ETA: a crappy picture I took out my car window yesterday of a handmade sign duct taped to a light pole in an intersection. There's no discernible agenda for it. I thought it was nice. And true!
