For me, it didn't create a fully-formed imagining, because there are a lot of possibilities, but I knew they all had to do with playing some sort of sex-related game which would be very fun to read about.
Okay, I think that's mainly what I was wondering. It explains why I wasn't able to find anything specific (other than Torchwood things) by googling "stopwatch sex game" and the like. I just couldn't imagine any of the things Ianto was implying Jack would be able to, but it's enough to know that he probably could have picked anything and Jack would have been able to do something with it. And other people were able to follow those lines fine. :)
I'm sorry you got such a non-answer
Yeah, I don't see what's wrong with telling a 15-year-old "one person puts their _____ on the other person's ______ with the intent of sexual pleasure" but I know it was asking a lot of that poor missionary woman who was married in the 1950s. Oh well. That's what I have internet friends for, right? *g*
I suspected that the difference between clinical detail and smut would be the emotional content, which explains some of my wobbliness about the latter. Heh. Though I do have other types of content that make me want to hide under my desk, but that I enjoy almost because of that, so I kind of know what you mean.
