Thing That Made Me Happy

I practically stumbled into this moth on my hike with Memphis this afternoon. When I was young, we used to get gorgeous moths on our back door screen because my dad had installed a bug zapper nearby. My favorites were a small yellow and pink variety, and the huge, extravagant lunas. I don't see as many anymore, though. Based on the time of day and the intensity of color, I think this one may have recently emerged from its cocoon.
