Darn. Usually it's the seats of my pants that do this.
I was just thinking when I stripped the bed this morning, "These sheets are really old, but they've gotten so soft!" I guess you can't sleep on the same cotton sheets almost every night for almost ten years without them wearing out eventually. My mom knew. Last Christmas she gave me a new set of sheets. (Actually, since I did all her shopping last year, she told me what to get and I went and picked it out from among the few choices available at Wal-Mart.) They're really more for guests: smooth, cream colored with scalloped trim. But they'll do until I can get some more white cotton ones.
Ideas for recycling a white cotton fitted sheet that's worn through right in the middle? I can always rip it up and braid into tug toys for Memphis, but it's pretty big as rags go. There might be better uses.
