This episode of Star Trek: TOS I'm half-watching features a pair of lapdogs costumed in thick orange polyester fur and little unicorn horns. I think I love them at least as much as the bubble wrap monster in The Ark in Space.
Unfortunately, the crew killed the dog in a (what else?) transporter accident. Then Shatner got a look on his face like he had just burped up the tilapia he had for lunch, but I think it was supposed to be shock and consternation, so that was pretty awesome too.
