Looking for help

First, if anyone is missing a dog... like thing, I think I've found it. I'm not sure what species this is, but he has a pretty big mouth and a spade shape on the end of his tail

What does it look like? Kind of like a medium size dog with short legs, small ears, a long tale with a big spade shape on the end, a twisty moustache, and a giant mouth. He seems pretty laid back, at any rate.

The journal and paper makers could really use proper buildings. Tents don't cut it, especially when the weather gets bad.

I'd imagine so. Well, I'd offer to help but I'm not too good with building actual buildings.

It looks like a moustache, at least.

Ah, the building part isn't much of an issue. I can do that more or less on my own. But collecting the materials and moving them to the proper island will be a lot of work.

Well, what do you need? I can look for something if you want. Or is that someone's job?

I have. I woke up in a suit of armor this morning-that qualifies as weird, doesn't it?

I need everything on that list. There are scavengers who look for that sort of thing as their job, though.

Yeah, clothing changes are pretty frequent these days. Thankfully they're more annoying than harmful, though.

Ah, in that case I'll let them do their job. After all, it's only fair.

Are there any things here that are harmful?

There have been some harmful creatures in the past. We've been attacked by zombies and giant ants before, not to mention the Wilderness occasionally being quite dangerous. If you keep your wits about you, it shouldn't be a problem though.

Oh, I've heard about the ants and the zombies. Don't worry, I can keep my wits! Those sound a little bit like fun, to be honest.

Like fun? People were hurt, you know.

They were? ... I didn't know that.

During the ant invasion some people were definitely injured... granted, it was mostly their own fault for not listening to warnings.

Ah. Well that's nothing new. People have a habit of not following orders-it's really quite annoying.
