I don’t usually get into fanart, but I love this image of the Doctor and the Master on Gallifrey by postal152. (There’s also a colored version of it here by teastainedbird.)
It captures the likenesses and personalities of the characters so well, and the scene is so evocative. It feels like there’s a whole story behind this moment. And it’s so… I don’t know… romantic, sad, and creepy, all at once, which is such the essence of Doctor/Master.
