Well, what a full on night...
I'm sure everyone has a mate that tends to drink too much alcohol and become, well stuborn! Well that happened to me on Friday night and I swear it is the one and ONLY time it will happen.
We went to see our friend play at this intimate little bar, very posh, art work everywhere and really modern. In a word she was awesome, she mainly does plucking with the strings but her fingers just dance across the fret board, such an amazing talent and her lyrics are playful and relate to situations which we have all been through. And her sound is mainly the blues which could potentially make it big if she were to go into a studio and record...she really was something!
Anyway, here we are drinking and having a good time and we decide to go to another pub to celebrate and relax with this chick (her name is Bron) who played her gig. My mate, was completely blind and we get to the pub and she just disapeared. Here I am on the phone to her bf trying to find places where she could have been I walked for miles on end, and it was a lost cause as there are street and alleyways running off everywhere. I go back to one of the other musicians houses where she also had a set with Bron and some other guy I met that night. I just said, I aint gonna be able to sleep here knowing that she's out there as they offered me to stay the night there, so they ordered a cab for me and I went back to her house for a $20 ride. I get there and there is no answer at the door, so I start walking down Chapel st hoping she might be around...Having no luck I walked back to the house, I called the cops knowing all to well what the answer would be. In the mean time while im on the phone being propositioned by a hooker...
The prospect of sleeping in may car didnt look so good, so i decided to drive home, still drunk mind you and hope that she was alright. I got home at around 6 in the morning and just crashed and woke up only to find that she had tried to call me about 5 times. She told me she stayed at her dad's...
That was my night, NEVER FUCKIN AGAIN!!!!!!
