New Year's Fic Rec
Happy New Year, everyone! I hope 2020 has got off to a good start. :-D As today was the big Yuletide author reveal, I thought I would recommend
scfrankles' wonderfully clever and hilarious Dawn of the Decaffeinated. I had the honour to be the Canadian-picker and get a sneak peek at the story. It's based on an Arrogant Worms' song, and it's a sequel to The Appealing Pirate Life. You don't have to be a fan of the Arrogant Worms (or a Canadian) to appreciate the story. In fact, someone with an average caffeine addiction should be able to relate. *g* A Tim Hortons runs out of coffee resulting in much hilarity and the most Canadian apocalypse you could imagine.
