Yuletide Fic Rec
Happy New Year! And what better way to start a new year than with a fic rec? I'm a tiny bit biased because I was the Canadian-picker on this story, but I would really like to recommend scfrankles' The Appealing Pirate Life. This story is not only fiendishly clever but it is so utterly Canadian in terms of its humour and characters. It really is a delightfully funny and uplifting story that is worth adding to your Yuletide reading list. You don't need to be familiar with either The Arrogant Worms or "The Last Saskatchewan Pirate" to appreciate this fic.
