Spring cleaning is WAY underway here at the Rusty household...
I had a list.
A MEGA list.
And on that list I would add things I'd already done, just to cross them out and be able to look at the list and feel in my heart that I was making progress.
There were some items on the list that were never getting done, like deep cleaning... you know what I mean (oven, freezer, kitchen drawers...)
So one day I said - this is bullshit, there has to be a better way!
I entered my list, the WHOLE list, into a spreadsheet and modified it to print in two evenly spaced columns.
There were 72 items on the list - some small, some huge - all worthy of my time.
I cut the list into individual tasks and folded them into tiny little squares (like a raffle, of sorts) - I placed them in a big container and now I just draw a new one when I have a moment.
So far, I've deep cleaned the main bathroom, the fridge (inside and out) and I'm working on the oven (stovetop, all of it) - I may not actually be done with this sucker until Monday. I'm so not kidding!
My hands are a wreck, but the house is smelling divine.
I purchased a whole contingent of Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day products in Lemon Verbena and it's been totally worth it.
