Friday night was fun. I was loud and annoying and generally good company. The only thing that wasn't so enjoyable was the vomiting. But I can ignore that... I'm not sure that it was drunk-sick anyways. Because my tummy still hurts, and it did prior to drinking as well. So I'm assuming it was a touch of the flu plus drinking. Good times. And I have wonderful friends who poured me lovingly into bed. lol The clearest memories of Friday (I can remember all of it; most of it is blurry, though) is of lying on the floor in the lobby, trying to keep my grilled cheese from touching the floor. And I also remember waking up at four in the morning, and shutting off everything with lights. Unfortunately, my roommate's printer was blinking. Could I leave it alone? Of course not. I had to poke the button. And it started spewing forth paper. And wouldn't shut off.
The next day was spent sleeping and eating. And then, in the night time hours, Laura came over. (Laura is my roommate from last year.) We listened to the revenge song multiple times and discussed different ways to creep people out. I've missed muh Laura. It was a good time. And we topped the evening off by having my character in Fable have sex. "You are so narty!" "You must have used your will on me!" And then Laura was laughing because my wife was following me around and continuously propositioning me, and singing. After Laura left, Ange (my current roommate) came in, belligerently drunk. It was fairly entertaining. She kept shouting "I hate Tech!!" and I kept shushing her. Then she climbed into her bunk and passed out. Good times.
I keep seeing these shirts that say "Pain is weakness leaving the body" and this strikes me as inaccurate. I mean, if I break my ankle... That makes me weaker, not stronger. Just saying.
And walking in the cold does not make me perkier. Just colder. I tried reminding myself that I've been much colder, like when I jump into Lake Superior... But that just made me feel EVEN colder. So I give up trying to trick myself.
By the way, I love Maggie, my co-worker/manager person. Not only is she loving enough to drive me home, but she bought me groceries for Christmas. :D
