A fun day off!

So yesterday was a fun day off. I woke up went to the gym came home and opened my Harry Potter 5 book collection. It was great. I read a bit and had an artistic moment so I painted. I had prepared these 2 blocks of wood, actually they were the shelves from a unit I chucked away. Then I painted them black. I looked in my books and found a wonder picture of two figures. Imagine standing behind someone and giving them a big hug with your right arm over their right shoulder and your left arm under the left shoulder. Then I drew it from the front in 2 sections, or each board. The are not an identical picture for the image is different. But I am really happy with them. I painted them for a freind but they are a bit too risky for him as in his line of work he has to remain "straight." Completely understandable. I guess I'll have to keep them for myself. Oh and I am going to get some of my sketches framed too. I should really display my good art. I never keep any pieces and I never tear pages out my book. But what the hell. Its okay to keep some of my work and give away others. For the moment I will focus on black pen sketches and I am going to do some prints, and simplistic modern art as well. Then I may move back into the more time consuming work with impressionistic art. All bigs words but I think it will be a fun project.

Piece out boi scout!!
