Hungover!

Mar 18, 2005 20:22

Well as you can imagine I am hung over as shit, but all is not lost because it was a great night. I can recall only bits and pieces but I do remember getting a hot dog from 7-Eleven at like 4am! Go hot dogs! And as it was 60 outside today I sat in the circle and read for a good few hours while drinking a Starbucks Strawberries and Creme, which is very tasty. Then I ate Thai food but the squid was not squidilicious, it was squid-nasty! So not so good.

Oh and I got my finances in shape, even though I have no major loans to repay my dumb arse ran up a nice credit card debt, so within 4 months I should free from all debt and have a sizeable amount of cash in 2 savings accounts. Did you know ING will automatically remove money from your checking account as many times a month as you like and then give you a 2.5% interest rate compounded daily!! Sweet, thats 10 times as much as my fucking bank will give me, the piece of shit!

Lastly, (is that even a word?) I am planning on taking a trip to Vancover for my birthday in April. So that should be fun, I can go and get some great outdoors and hopefully go hiking and smoke some of the insanse canadian shrubbery!! Wooohooo! That will be the bomb yo!

Right, well I am hungry and need to grab some beers and go to Jeff's house. He also graduated from MSU and works at a different hotel but in the same company. We are working on a kudos card system which rewards employees for good work by giving them 15 minutes paid time off. At the end of the month they can redeem them and get some decent time off paid. Oh and during the employee luncheon we will draw say 5 of these tickets and the employees get to spin a wheel and get cool prizes. This is just one part of the employee recognition program we are trying to get set in place. So its just a way to say thanks for your hard work and also give the employees something to look forward to at the monthly luncheon!

Oh and I started to collect rubber ducks, the Human Rights store in DC usually stocks about 5 kinds and changes them quarterly. Nice one. I recently bought the pride duck and hawaiian holiday duck (which reminds me of the beach, which reminds me of boy's wearing hawaiian swim shorts, which reminds me of boys at the beach not wearing any shorts, which is always a good thing!)
