Orange Box
So, tonight was the Christmas party extravaganza celebration for my new job at AiM. I have only been working there for almost 3 weeks.
Everyone got off an hour early and headed across the street to Solera's tapas bar - which serves the besterestest in Spanish foods and drink. According to a bill from an earlier trip there with Sarah, I would have to say that I alone had consumed about $200 worth of food and drink. Mingling was a bit awkward but resolved itself after a G&T and a Newcastle.
In the end, there was a drawing for door prizes - tons of $20 gift certificates to Best Buy, Target, Jimmy Johns, Chipotle, and some $50 certs to Macy's and a few other clothing stores, and some medium (cordless phone, 2G flash drives) to 3 big ticket prizes at the end (a stay at some random hotel, a stay at The Chamber and a X-Box 360 game console (loaded and with a 1 month Silver membership).
Holy shit! They called my name out for the X-Box. I am elated as all hell and am going to buy Orange Box because Ryan said that Portal is one of the dopest games around...
