GOD DAMN its gorgeous out. Its about F'EN TIME if I may say so. I've spent at minimum 4 hours outside this entire week. I went so far as to get my bike up and going after the long winter months. She needs a bit of work, but for the time being it works well. I've cruised all over, but I've set Gas Works as my primary focus for my daily outings. I spend a little bit of time there in the sun and shade reading.

Currently I've got two books I am reading. THe first is "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond. It's basically about the human existence and its maturity over the last 40k years. Its interesting and I am enjoying it, but its also a little like reading a text book. Its slow going, but I REALLY am enjoying it.

The second one was loaned to me by a girl at work (shutup!) called "Physics of the Impossible" by Michio Kaku (who is turning out to be one of my favorite Physicist. Reading his stuff really makes me wanna get more and more into the realm of advanced physics) This book is basically the science, well physics, behind science fiction impossibilities. Time Travel, Teleportation, quantum mechanics and quantum engineering, black holes and other super awsome science fiction related stuff. This is nice because I've been tryen to teach myself physics, and some of what he talks about I kinda sorta understand.

Anyways... so yeah, I hope this weather sticks around for awhile. I hope I can get into shape again. Though I think I'm in pretty good shape now. YES I have a gut, but its not a big deal. I have yet to run into anything that's been a huge challenge this week on my bike, and there were parts I was riding that I HAD been struggling on the previous year. That's a plus right? I may never ever ever get rid of my gut, but the feeling of being able to ride up a big ass hill without stop makes up for it... and haulen ass down the other side is pretty freaken fun too.

go forth and enjoy the rarity of this land known as the sun.
