Just a few Beastlie Idlings..

Lately in my daydreaming, I seem to be caught in the construction of Valaein[Va-lA-en], "Prosperity," the hand-built village that the nomadic Cougar Tribe finally settle in through the advisition of Azare Kivu. It's very reminiscent of the Tauren cities of Warcraft; very wood-based and earthly.. Only at the skirts of a great forest rather than the peaks of valley mountains.
And of course, with the construction of Valaein I've finally mapped out the happiest months(perhaps years) of Azare Kivu's life. His most crucial personal mission having been, ultimately, the survival and accomodation of the Cougar Tribe versus the rest of Verth who have over the times become very inhospitable towards them. With his power of course the Cougars have no real need to continue running as Nomads; they're given the chance to settle and make a real home for themselves. Azare finally feels at home himself, and finishes his adaptations to their culture. He also adds further to it by reviving the practices of Zevhou Rai, the long-lost martial art of the ancient V'hu Tribes.

Also, I finally began filling in the faces of the tribe. Several Cougars have come into my catalogue tonight, named after the sweet little pups I based them on(I happened to be at work at the time). Nanuk the young and curious Husky, Tremer the strong-bodied brindle Dane, and Magic the inquisitive and cool-blooded Black Lab. Maxim the mischeviously wolvish Shepherd also. I can't seem to identify any of the tribeswomen aside from Cherish the Koh'Vhu.. Who isn't really a Cougar. Hrm.
In any case, I'm very glad to finally be focusing on the Cougar Tribe and the center-stage of Azare's life. This is already, truly, my favorite little peice of Verth.
