I'm so scared! Ah!
Monday.... 6am I go into the hospital to become a Mom... holy shit... I'm going in as one person, and I'm leaving with another....shit... I'm so scared!
Some pray that everything will go okay! *bites her lip* I know 99.9% of my friends dont believei n God, but there has to be a higher power, and... *sigh* FUCK! lol
Okay... I'll probably post again about the baby thing, it just occured to me when I was in the shower I have less than 2 days before my beautiful little bundle of joy is in my arms... :-)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've been reading all abut the Irish Rebellion, and about what my family had to bloody well go through, from 1916-On. I mean... they've been opressed since about... oh.... 1060 or some shit like that, because Britain wasnt very happy with the farming and resources of their land, and then they took over Northern Ireland. *sigh* Its so sad.
I dont hate the British, or the English, I have Jayney, and I love her! Shes my "daughter" lol ( yeah Mutter's here :-P) But... just the opression my family got. The Dowdells, which is my Irish side (and there are more), are the only Dowdells in Canada, Dowdell is a rare last name, and its pretty much died out in that manner. Pretty sad.
In 1916, the Easter Rising happened, and when it did, it took the Brits off guard, but see... there were only about 500 Irishmen (and women) against 5,000. Unbelieveable odds, but history is repeating itself, Rising's have been happening since 1060 and they've always been defeated. They just want Home Rule. Their own Parliament, and to be FREE! *sigh* God sake. Anyway, every man who was apart of the Rising, was executed. Every one! Padraic Pearse, William Pearse, Thomas Clarke, Joseph Mary Plunkett, the list goes on. They werent given a trial, but shot by the firing squad. The women were put in prison for a life long term. Sad day for the Irish. They gave their life for their country. Thats enough to drink to. And this Easter, I will be having a pint for them. They gave their lives to try and make my ancestors country free. And they were damned happy to die for their country. They smiled as they died. Joseph Mary Plunkett married his fiancee before he was shot. She was allowed to bring his ring, and they had their vows exchanged, but they werent allowed to touch. Not one last kiss, and she watched him be shot. You then learn that thousands of innocent men and women were deported to America, or anywhere else (Australia I think is what I also read), because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. All Irish.
Imagine....
A good read is the Bloody Sunday Massacre. Yeah... go read how fucking corrupt history is. A Union strike, Scottish, English and Irish police watched as a riot occured because of PRIDE!, and innocent women and childern were killed, about 200 I think. Can you imagine that? Anyone? Such horrors....
