From istanbul : Day 6
Capadoccia took its toll on us! We all woke up today at 930am, Manar inclusive, and she was still sleepy. I decided to give her a rest and Manar and myself stayed in the hotel for her to nap. Our first sight today was the Galata Tower. Following a 45 degrees walk uphill we finally arrived at our destination. The view from the Tower was truly panaromic covering all sides of Istanbul. A lovely cafe/restaurant on the top two floors should have breathtaking views at night, provided you are up to taking that steep walk up-the-hill.
Next stop : Taksim square. manar had a ball of a time here running around everywhere! We walked through Istiklal Caddesi, a street with all the posh shops of the world. Here my daughter decided to throw up and hence we finally decided to go back home.
