Life was gooooooood yesterday. I went with my sister, my cousin Heather who is down from New York, and my sister's two friends to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios and we all had a blast. I especially enjoyed the water rides when I got absolutely SOAKED!!! We hit Islands of Adventure first, then went over to Universal Studios. The parks were not very crowded at all; I think the longest line we waited in was 35 minutes. I got to go on the new Simpson's ride and I thought it was decent, but not all the hype it was made out to be. Anyways, awesome, fun day at the theme parks.
Yet more was still to come. I came home in time to watch game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals where the Penguins managed to get their heads out of their butts and pull of a win against the Red Wings. The home crowd there showed great support of the teams. Game 4 will be on Saturday at Pittsburgh so hopefully that game will yield the same results.
After the game I crashed because I was just exhausted. It was a much needed day of fun and relaxation.
Today I get to relax this morning, then I'm going to my sister's high school graduation.
Oh, my Penguins jersey should be here today!!! Sweeeeet!!!
