All the News that's Fit to Print
OK, I can tell things are getting busy... I'm hardly posting anymore. I've just finished a 3-hour marathon grading session for the online class I teach, and I'm not done yet. But I'm not complaining, as the alternative is to teach the class "on site" in a 4-hour block one night a week. Yuk...give me online grading any day!
Self-absorbed as I am, these days I am thinking mostly about what I will be getting myself for Christmas. :-) I really want satellite radio, but I know I need to wait til Sirius and XM merge their programs for it to be a wise choice. So I'm waiting... I'm kind of on a "books on CD" kick while driving these days. Recently I listened to Jump The Shark and Elizabeth and Mary: Cousins, Rivals, Queens. Just yesterday I picked up a little David Sedaris (nanny_akhmatovawould be proud!) and All The Shah's Men.
The semester ends December 15. A month left. Over break I'll go to California for about 5 days, but other than that (and maybe an overnight trip somewhere with the Midwest girlfriends), I'm just lookin' at internship and vegging a bit. Should be relaxing.
