{011} Brother Russia.

Jan 19, 2009 23:47

Brother is awake, but not much in the mood for speaking with anyone just yet. I've passed on the heartfelt pawings of you all, and he is aware of the requests to have words with him.

I will answer questions on his behalf in the meantime. To the best of my ability, understand.

brother

Ask him if he'll make an exception for me.

Just be silent when you enter. He rests currently.

[Realizes after he's left he should have asked Belarus for the room number but then he'd have to admit he needed her help for something, so opts to ask at the nurses desk. And fast forward to outside Russia's room because his trip to the hospital isn't that exciting. He gives one short knock before pushing open the door and letting himself in. Ignores Belarus to stand beside Russia's bed and looks at him, taking in all the damage done.]

[And ignores him right back for a good long moment, waiting to finish the chapter she's reading in a large book by flashlight, as the room's kept fairly dark for when he's sleeping. And warm! How Belarus has managed to keep it so warm is a mystery...]

Surprising, your return.

[And Russia is dozing at the moment, or at least appears to be. Who knows for sure, it's Russia. Despite how dark the room is, the injuries are fairly unmistakable, especially now that the ice packs have been removed. His face is still fairly swollen and really is just one large bruise at this point. Scabs have formed on the various lacerations, though all of them save for a burst eyebrow and his jaw (which is particularly nasty looking, having required over a dozen stitches and was still quite raw looking) have gotten away without needing stitches. A brace is worn over his neck and shoulders, immobilizing him to provide stability thanks to the broken clavicles.

At least in the past day he'd managed to convince the doctors that, no, really, with his drug tolerance, he was going to need painkillers much stronger than what they were giving him. He's actually getting some decent rest now.]

[Glances at Belarus for a split second before looking back at Russia. It was like a train wreck, he couldn't stop looking. His forehead is furrowed but there's no other visible sign of how bothered he is. And he knows better then to question the warmth of the room.]

Why?

[Bookmarks the book with her flashlight, closing it. It's a Masonic Bible. Run the fuck away.]

You seemed so eager to depart.

[Aww no Communist Manifesto?]

I wasn't eager. I wasn't sure how the other nations would react and wanted to keep Hong Kong away from them.

[She's trying to swoon the manly lodge church cult!]

Ah. [Folds hands in her lap, over her book.] I'm sure Germany waging an attack on Russia would most certainly mean the inevitable snatching of your pet.

[So blank when saying it.]

[Can he really not leave you two alone? Really? Considering he knows full well that the road they've just gotten on would probably end with both of them in the same shape as him, Russia's going to stop eves-dropping now. He needed them both in one piece, after all.

Opening his eyes he glances up at China (Belarus, you're not in his field of vision). If he was surprised at the man showing up, he had already given himself more than enough time to resettle, so he hid it well both in expression and voice.]

Yao. [Still good and blank.]

[Eyes widen in surprise and straightens slightly but no other sign of surprise. And then a tiny smile. He's ignoring you again Belarus.]

Ivan. Should you be talking?

[She's going to let the two of you talk for a time. She shifts a little and stifles the smallest yawn behind her hand, because she hasn't much at all since she returned, and she's back to reading her little blue bible.]
