The Last Poem

Apr 15, 2004 10:49

The following poem is dedicated to all my friends but especially to my enemies, without you I couldn't be happy. I love you all but I have realized that I am a sell-out and have realized the wrongs in my ways. For those of you to thick to understand, this is and will be my last public poem. I may share one or two here or there but... not often.

My last poem
No more death and destruction
At least not for you anyways

They're like foam
But than a malfunction
They pop away

I've realized I show off
Through my poems
I'm a sell-out
I brag about it
And instruct you
"oo oo, Read this one, read this one"
Just to hear your laughs
And approval of my insecurity

Not only
Am I worried about
Baing a sell-out
And A wanna-be EAP(Edgar Allen Poe, for those who don't know)
What if someone told someone
Not only would I be embarrassed
By all my crazy titles
And the contents of those titles
About my anger
but my exposed desires
My dreams,
My odd topics and all my problems
If my parents knew
That I was totally different
Then there 4.0 Kayla
And knew of all my harsh comments
Two words
HELLO SHRINK!

My last poem
It seems real somber
This is just to figure out
If I can get by without sharing them with everyone
If my friends will still notice
Me without them
If I'm the same person
Without them

Wish I could have discovered
Poems earlier
My life could have been easier
But it wasn't

My last "public" poem

This is a poem just to those who've read my others. I am sorry for pestering all you who have read my poems into reading my poems, it was wrong and I know this. Not only am I not good, but I think it was my way of getting attention when I felt unrecognized. I promise to stop bugging you all and I hope you have good lives!
