an update on life.

So I'm thinking. California is a wonderful place but you know what it's missing? YOU GUYS! I have kinda been living it up and not really thinking about home until tonight when it just hit me. I was sitting there watching some pool (Allison Fisher vs Karen Corr, very good game) and it hit me, damn I miss duluth. I missed the whole drama of Jon and Julia, I had just started hitting things off with Laura Woods (who I have probably spent a total of 2 or 3 hours on the phone with per day while I have been out here and just got bitched out by my mom about using all of our minutes... lol) and the whole being just friends with Lauren thing was beginning to work out as well. Not that I don't like california, I just think I have taken too long of a vacation out here. It really has been more work than vacation. I have installed drywall, tubs, showers, sinks, tile, drains, fans, doors, and taken more trips to Home Depot than I care to remember. I work all day at this freaking house and then when Deval and Jimmy get home at night all they want to do is work on the house more. Now Mom, Dad, Taylor, Liz, Bailey, and Seth are out here as well so its like 9 people living in a tiny house and everyone is about up to their neck in this whole housework bullshit that Deval keeps giving us... Tuesday can't come soon enough, I can't wait to get off that plane and see Jon and Laura waiting for me at the baggage claim and just go home and enjoy 4 days of literally no immediate family in the same state as me, in fact they will be on the exact opposite side of the country as me and that will be a great feeling. So in conclusion, if you wake up late at night (seriously, like anytime before 5 am) and you want to make a call, I can guarantee you I will be awake and more than happy to talk (just so long as you don't call before 12am b/c that would be 9pm out here and that's when my free talking time starts...unless your verizon... I'm going to stop talking b/c this is turning into a pointless rant. I miss everyone tons and there will be a lot of hanging out and catching up when I return.
