I want to open by saying that I am sorry for those at Tech who lost their lives and equally sorry for their friends and family members. But we must not be quick to place blame where it is not due.
Video games did not kill those people. Video Games did not tell the shooter to take all the lives he took along with his own. It is not the fault of the video game industry.
It is not the fault of the firearm industry either. He owned his firearm for a month before he comitted this heinous act. It is not as though he bought the gun the day he went on the rampage. As for the arguement that if guns were illegal, he would not have had one, bullshit. If you make guns illegal, then only the criminals have them and law abiding citizens do not. Also remember that one of the first step that oppresive regimes take is to disarm their people. I am not calling Australia an oppressive regime, rather the USSR, Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and China.
Right now, lets put the blame where it belongs: on the murderer.
