Elbrus skiing

Yesterday I went skiing with my friends. As we live only about 180 km away from the highest mountain in Europe we usually go there in the morning and get back home in the evening, without staying in local hotels. Road takes about 3 hours one way.
A great friend of mine is a crazy snowboard fan, so he goes to different skiing places pretty often and I accompany him from time to time, but this was first time I decided to take my bigger camera with me, so I hope pictures worth my pain in the back.
So this time we went to Elbrus (wiki), where a new cable way was built last year, so now it's possible easily to get to the altitude of 10 thousand feet or 3 km in a nice gondola, and even higher using the old open seats cable way.

Elbrus Mt.

The highest mountain in Europe. Though looks not large and high from this point at about 3 thousand meters or 10 thousand feet.

Looking the opposite direction one can see mountains surrounding Elbrus.

One of the ski routes.

Large wide and long fields with different slope angle allow people with different ski proficiency level feel comfortable here.

New cable-way with nice cabins.

Here you see 10x zoom part of the next picture.
