Must keep reminding myself that there is no fixed perspective in this space. I have learned a lot from the Post-Studio crit, a hell of a lot... But today was a nice reminder that vastly different perspectives exist, and that the contentous and argumentative discourse around a work is where a great deal of criticality lives.
It was a great fucking meeting. I feel a hell of a lot better after that. Not cocky in any sence, but much more balanced in terms of my view of the work.
He did say I need to fight back more, grow some balls!!
