a salute to veterans
I find it sad our military personnel are looked upon as propoganda tools by both our own politicians and our enemies
I was proud to serve my country, and at least at the beginning of my service, naive enough to think of it as something special ... I think perhaps it no longer is, as endless war zone deployments with no purpose have our politicians simply looking at service members as toy soldiers on a game board ... the utter shit they allowed to happen with the VA is contemptable beyond reason and shows how little regard our own leaders have for our military
but the people who serve are special I believe ... because they are willing to take the oath and stand where needed, regardless of the political shenanigans
so even if you are not exactly a supporter of the US military agenda, take a moment today to give thanks to those who serve
because our military members do so with loyalty, both the human and animal varieties
