Here's a fic rec with a twist. It's an official short story about Millers Kill by the author herself.

It's a cute piece about living in a small town. Russ and Clare meet every Wednesday for lunch at the diner and, apparently, the whole town knows it.
WARNING: When you go to the page you'll probably get a virus warning (I get one using Norton). I've yet to find anything wrong with the site. I looked at what it's warning about... something about those fake virus programs (where it tells you that you have a virus and when you click on it it actually gives you a virus that apparently you can only get rid of by paying them) but I haven't seen anything like that. So enter at your own risk. It's a really cute story, though.
