Flu shot today! My arm is kinda sore already, and I'm feeling kinda sick. Didn't do this last year. Hope this doesn't mean I'm gonna have a reaction to it. Last year was the first time I remember NOT getting a bajillion colds and crap during the winter. Yay! Flu shots! Tony got one to, only 20 bucks! Hmmm, you didn't do it last year and you got no colds or anything during the winter, yet you are getting it this year. Why?

I think she means she didn't feel sick afterwards last year. :)

aha! That would make sense then. I was all confused with the "didn't do this last year" sentence and was like then why are you doing it this year!

I am suspicious of the flu shot and don't get one. Last year they made me, but I was already sick, so I didn't worry much about getting sicker. ;)

Yeah, I never get one personally. Mostly because I've never noticed them really working... everyone I've seen get them still gets the flu. I usually get the flu from my little girl though so I'm thinking she's getting one just in case it might work for her. ;)

I hope you're not really sick from it! I don't get flu shots. I've seen them make too many people get sick with the flu right off from them (though admittedly shorter lived usually) and then they still get the flu at some point in the winter! Plus I have a needle phobia. I can be counted on to get the flu once every winter, sometimes twice, as Malia brings it home but I've usually got it beat well enough to work and function as normal within a day or two at most so it doesn't really decommission me. Speaking of which, I need Malia to get her flu shots. Last year her pediatrician gave her one, but they had to do it in two shots because she's so little... and when it was time for the second dose they called and said they were out! I was pissed.

In short, hope you're not really getting sick! And thanks for the reminder that I need to get Malia her flu shot! :)

Ow! I've never had a flu shot. I need to call the pediatrician's office and find out if they have it in yet for Owen to get his. Yay shots! NOT!
