Tonight is freezing... thank god for Justin's heater [he said he never uses it at night because the oxygen gets burnt off and you can die from suffocation... as if!]. These past few days have been fully hectic and my days of going out late night has taken its toll on me I think. It's mianly just the finances that have really bogged me down. So this is what's been up these past few days..
On Thursday night, Flo, Cindy, Ralph and Hoang came over all the way from Sydney to have a good old time with me! It was awesome, they bought heaps of liquor including a bottle of vodka, Bailey's and some Bacardi Breezers and we got all nice and drunk before heading off to the pub to meet the others who just got back from the Jet concert. We all headed back to my place where once again we had a jolly good time =p. I found Ralph lying outside on concrete and he was going on about how his puke can fertilise the grass and make the flowers grow [not to mention how he was sleeping with moon over him.. silly bugger]. I also found Sherry lying outside remarking on how comfortable she felt lying on concrete. Ugh. What's with drunk people and concrete. =S I had 8 people squashed up in my room and I ended up sleeping half on the mattress and half on the wooden floorboard. Ack.
With very little sleep, I went back up to Sydney the next day. Crammed in some extra sleep so I could do some figure skating. I had my first lesson ever with Belinda.. it was awesome! She places alot of emphasis on posture which I feel is going to totally revolutionise my skating. The future looks bright. =] Straight to tennis in the evening.. I was totally buggered.
Worked on Saturday during the morning before heading off into the city once again to have dinner with my friends. We had Indonesian food and I gotta say, it was one of the best things I have ever eaten. Absolutely incredible!! Yum... they make the best chicken... I want to go there... now. =[ -$10 Went and saw more old friends at the Med Revue. That was nuts. -$10 I had to leave halfway through because Paul said free entry was allowed until 11. Caught the bus with Flo... ran for our lives... only to find out that they were still outside and we couldn't get free entry! What a rip off! Ugh. Speaking of ripoffs... It was Danny's 18th birthday so we decided to have a pub crawl! Wheee! We went into 3 Wise Monkeys where I shouted Flo and Danny tequila shots so my money was gone before you know it!! -$25 But it ended up being a rather shit night for me after that because we had too many guys and out group was too big so we spent a good deal of time wandering around pubs. Especially bad was the fact that it was Saturday night where they have live gigs so all the good pubs are too full or have surcharge (stupid Arthouse Hotel!) Danny got nice and drunk when I left at 2... he was hilarious after having 9 standard drinks. *cackles*. WHAT A TANK! The bus ride home took one and a half hours but it was awesome because I saw more old friends - Mirko and Bolsha and then Luke hopped onto the bus rather smashed. We talked like old men... it was nuts seeing everyone again... like a blast from the past! Taxi driver was a 50something Iranian man who hated his job but couldn't do anything else despite his engineering degree from the Iranian university. That was depressing but interesting. -$20.
