NEVERMIND.

Dear Kay

Dear Kay,

Do you remember the first time we met?

When I cracked a massive random hissyfit,

In the Junsu thread at AF,

And everyone was like "Holy sh.it!"

Foolish thing I did,

But I don't regret it.

You welcomed me with open arms and asked,

"You've been around here for a bit?"

Dear Kay,

I really admire your essays.

The way you said what was right,

The way you expressed your opinions.

You taught me how to write,

But I failed with just a couple of mere lines.

As I'm writing this to you now,

It is not the best poem out there, but I'm putting my feelings into it.

But I'm trying Kay, I'm trying.

Dear Kay,

Remember the times we were bored and we'd play around?

Either of us would join a new forum and introduce ourselves,

And we'd act like we don't know each other at all?

We would pretend to hit it off quickly as really good friends on the first day,

Which made other members slightly confused,

And we would laugh about it over at our MSN conversations.

Do you remember Kay? Do you remember?

Because I do.

Dear Kay,

Tell me, what is it like in Heaven?

Is it like in those picture books where it is all covered in clouds and angels?

Is God there right beside you?

Is your father there beside you as you are reading this?

Spread your wings and fly,

So you could fly down here and see me,

And we would talk about things that we would talk about everyday.

Just like old times.

Dear Kay,

Looking back eversince we've met, time has gone too quickly.

How delusional was I, thinking that in 10 years time, we would see each other in person,

And go shopping and have fun.

You would laugh and say "Ah, typical optimisitic Jess."

But deep inside, behind that beautiful smile,

I knew you were crying.

Crying in pain, crying in loss.

I'm so sorry.

Dear Kay,

I've been thinking about you.

Missing you, crying over you.

I feel so lost without you... we all do.

Tears are swelling inside me,

Crying out for you to come back.

Why must it be you?

Out of all the people in the world,

Why must it be you?

Dear Kay,

I wish I was there for you,

I wish I was there to comfort you.

I would make you happy, I would make you laugh.

Live life to the fullest, I say.

But somehow, I have this feeling you are in a better place.

In a place where pain nor sadness exist.

Up there with your father,

Just as you wished.

Hey there Kay,

If I could turn back time,

I would fly to wherever you are and surprise you.

Just to see you.

Eight stanzas, each having eight lines

With my emotions. Our memories.

My final words to you are:

Goodbye Kay, Goodbye.

I'll never forget you.

Rest In Peace Kay Emily Kyung Min Moon, 1989-2007.
I love you.

FORGET IT. NEVERMIND. "SHE" NEVER DIED.
