I see you did a new layout then the beta one, hehe. All I got to say is: Awesome job, Todd. Your writing was so interesting that I read the whole thing, page by page. I really like how personal it got. I was pretty sad hearing how Tidus' situation reminded you of your own, and it makes you really feel for him (and you) now. Because of the personal connection, you did a great job bringing up points I never really thought about, like how he puts up a "charade" or his final thoughts of never spending time with Yuna in Zanarkand.
For the ending of the game, I would totally mention that in the Japanese version, Yuna says "Thank you", instead of "I love you", and honestly, it made the scene more tragic and I cried when she said it more than the American version. Instead of the typical romantic cliche line, Yuna uses her last words to Tidus to thank him for everything he's done, and god damn, he deserved the praise for it. I don't think a single character really said that directly to him, or at least with such meaning. Good job describing the ending - I cried again with Yuna's last speech and the whole scene with Jecht...
Now, it's been so long since I played FFX, but reading the Blitzball section... wasn't there a secret scene you can unlock that involves his Dad or something, that unlocks a secret move for the game? It might be a good idea to mention it.
Haha, yeah. I originally did a layout that the banner I linked in this entry was made from. I still really like it and may use it in the future if I ever get tired of this one, but I was struck with a moment of creativity the other day and had to make this. I think the layout I have up now really fits my site's mood, the site's name, and the parts of Tidus I really focused on. It's also easier to edit and add content to, and Poltergeist is currently changing a lot.

I also didn't know about the secret Blitzball scene, as I avoid Blitzball for the most part when I play the game. I will check it out.
I made this shrine in a time where I only wrote about my personal perception of a character, and left basic details to Wikipedia. Recently, I like to make a mix of subjective and objective content (as you probably have seen in Ripples and Somewhere Only We Know). I'm working to bring Poltergeist up to my current standard, trying to cover a lot more of the basic stuff to make it more friendly for people who haven't played the game yet or who don't know who Tidus is. Pages like the Blitzball section where I took the easy way out and simply wrote that I didn't like it will be rewritten. This site will be changing a lot in the weeks and months ahead. The good news: updates!
