Any advices about 1-night accomodation in Manhattan during Labour Day weekend? Gonna visit Big Apple for a couple of days with my spouse and trying to find something relatively cheap (about $100 per night). Unfortunately, all top places from hostels.com are fully booked already. Any hints&tips you could share with me

well... you may be a tad too late trying "to find something relatively cheap" I'd imagine your best bet would be bidding on priceline or some place like that. other than that... try Gershwin hotel.

tour buses are abound in midtown manhattan - my guess is you can just hop on one. if not, they'll tell you where they pick up tourists. if the weather is good you (and a guidebook) can just walk around.
