i'm here! i'm alive! i'm on vacation right now! that actually means nothing more than i've just taken the week off; i've not done anything much save laundry and sleep in a whole lot, but it's nice. streetcar opens this week; we've a pre-preview tonight, the official preview tomorrow, and opening night on friday. it's been a long and sometimes arduous process but i'm very excited about it - and not just because several people i know are coming to see it this weekend. :)
school for me is over; i'm still waiting on that grade to come in and hoping to know by month's end exactly which class i'm teaching next semester. the more i say that, the funnier it gets...
i've also found a new place to live, with someone who is normal and understands how to be a roommate who doesn't suck, and i'll be gradually moving in by month's end. yay no longer living on the student side of town! undergrads be damned! :)
um... what else? "hot fuzz" was hilarious and i should go see it again; the kentucky derby was satisfying all around (how cute was calvin borel? awww!)... um. yeah, not a whole lot going on here, other than that kim and i are doing our annual eating tour of charlottesville on friday (BIG FUN FACE) before she takes off for london. i have a ton of new music i still need to listen to! kaiser chiefs is one of the best live bands ever! (i realize i forgot to do the gushing-about-them-post when i got back from boston last month. bad me!) and not just because i saw ricky wilson's plumber's crack!
...um. okay. i think i'll go back to being lazy now. :P hi everybody!
