1) The Wii is a massive success. Nintendo was right. Get over it!
2) The 360/PS3 are losing to the Wii. Get over it!
3) Lower budgets/higher installed bases/easier development are good things for developers. Get over it!
4) You can whine/cry/pout/scream all you want. It won't change anything. Get over it!
I swear to God the people here take any news of the Wii's incredible success as if they've had their nuts cut off. GET THE FUCK OVER IT!!! Do you people, like, cry yourselves to sleep when NPD numbers show the Wii outselling the PS3 virtually 4 to 1? It just means the majority of people disagree with you. It doesn't make them right or wrong. It just makes you different. Boo-fucking-hoo. If the entire basis of your pride as a gamer relies on the idea that (mostly) everyone else agrees with your standards of what makes great gaming, you're a fucking weak-willed person who does not deserve to call themselves hardcore! If you like the shit you like, FUCKING OWN IT UP! But don't cry yourselves to sleep as the Wii continues to give the industry a much needed shot in the arm.
A hardcore gamer doesn't need the approval of the masses to enjoy what they like. Nor do they need to bitch about it. I like what I fucking like, and I don't give a SHIT what anyone else says. I will play whatever the fuck I like, even if no one else is!
But here's another fact your hardcore pussys need to face. GAMING IS A MOTHER FUCKING BUSINESS, NOT A GODDAMN CHARITY!! You want games? Developers have to be paid to keep making them. How do they get paid? Their games have to sell at a fucking PROFIT! DUH!! The Wii is so hot right now that developing for it increases the chances that your game will make a profit. Which will help them keep their goddamn jobs. Which will keep us getting new games at regular intervals instead of, what, twice a year? HOW THE FUCK IS THAT A GODDAMN BAD THING??? I, personally, like the idea that I'll be able to play a number of fun games a year. But I won't get that if we suddenly see all the studios close down 'cause they spent millions/billions of dollars making only 360/PS3 games that nobody bought 'cause the system was too goddamn expensive for the majority of us poor asses. THIS ELITEST BULLSHIT ISN'T HELPING YOUR CAUSE!!! All your doing is pushing everyone away, away to the Wii and its cheaper price point. And guess what? The only one who loses in that senario.... IS YOU!!!
If all the games you want end up moving to the Wii, don't be a goddamn whiny pussy. Just suck it up, buy the goddamn thing (it's not like it'd put you back much if you have a 360/PS3 already...), and just fucking accept it.
