...But I digress--let's move on!

So I watched Dragonball Evolution today! ...It was bad. I knew it was going to be bad, but I watched it anyway, and now that I've confirmed it's bad...somehow I can't bring myself to regret having watched it anyway. Ha!

So I took some time to write a 100-word drabble review.

----- review -----

It's Dragonball, The Movie! Brought to you by classic fanfic writer, Ben Ramsey!! (aka piccolo_rulz972) And a dedicated cast willing to work for whatever was left after producers paid the special effects crew and Yun-Fat Chow! Seriously, you know how fanfic writers will put your fandom in high school? Not only is Goku a high schooler, but he'll actually HAVE hormones like normal teenagers. (As he should, considering Chichi got hottie-fied.) Then Bulma shows and she and Goku--soon joined by a less-perverted Master Roshi and surfer-talking Yamcha--save the world from Piccolo and foreshadowing. In the end, bad jokes kill everyone.

Randomly, here are some lines that popped into my head while watching.

*being Chichi* "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard..."

"DBE? Why would they emphasize that as a joke? DB...E. Ooooh, DragonBall Evolution! Like DBZ, only the letter actually stands for something now. ...Ha!"

"Hey, they kept Roshi's place an 'island' by replacing the clear, sparkling blue waters of the ocean with a crater of forgetfulness and despair~! Cool."

"What--but--wait, wha--? If there was a way around the lava this entire time, why didn't they just take that route to begin with!?!?!"

"Kamehameha! ...Kamehameha!! Stop chopping up the syllables and just say it properly! KAMEHAMEHA! ...........AURG!"

*snerk* "Hey Piccolo, you're muscle padding is slipping loose there. Might wanna adjust it for the next shot...there ya go."

*watching credits to see if any extra scenes pop up* "Oh cool." *watches when one does, and waits for the unnecessarily long scene to reveal it's all-too predictable plot twist* "....Well. It was nice to know they kept optimistic about a sequel. Suckers."
