6. When I was a little girl, I had a Barbie coloring book, and I always liked to color the Barbies with pine green and midnight blue and plum and turquoise for lips and hair and nails. I really didn't understand why nail polish only came in red and pink, and hair was some shade of black, brown, orange, yellow or grey. And then when I was four or five we were on a road trip to see my Grandparents, and stopped at a Howard Johnson's for lunch, and there was a guy in the restaurant with BRIGHT GREEN HAIR!!!! And I knew it was possible!

So basically I wanted it some cool color since I was tiny. I did cotton candy pink streaks in college, then left it plain for several years. And then it started going grey (very early - my family greys early) and I said to heck with that, and went first with fire-engine red, then magenta, then finally settled on turquoise blue. It's been blue for the last two and a half years. Blue suits my personality, I think. I only dabbled in pink because pink dye was (and still is) easier to find than blue. I really always wanted blue.

(Was that too long-winded of an answer? And seeing as I've been thinking about the subject pretty much my entire life, no, I don't think you're pondering it too much ^_^)
